Dust off your best Derby hats and break out the bowties! The Madera County Republican Women invite you to one of our most exciting events of the year. Nite at the Races is taking over the beautiful grounds of San Joaquin Wine Co for a high-stakes evening of simulated horse racing, community camaraderie, and a shared mission to champion our conservative values.


What to Expect at the Starting Gate:


  • The Main Event: Feel the Thunder! Experience the heart-pounding thrill of the track with professional, interactive horse racing on the big screens. Every guest receives a set of racing tickets—your key to the winner's circle.


  • Place Your Bets: Interactive Audience Participation Before each race, study the field and pick your champion! To "bet," simply drop your ticket into the bin that corresponds with your favorite horse’s number. Once the race is final and the dust settles, we’ll draw one lucky winner from the winning horse's bin to take home a fantastic prize! The more races we run, the more chances you have to win.


  • A Vineyard Setting Enjoy the elegant atmosphere of the San Joaquin Valley Winery, a local staple known for its beautiful setting, welcoming vibe, and award-winning wines.


  • Winners' Circle Prizes Between the races, don't miss your chance to win even more! We’ll have spectacular raffle baskets and exclusive silent auction items up for grabs throughout the evening.


  • The Mission: Investing in the Next Generation: This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and your participation makes a direct impact. Proceeds from the Nite at the Races Gala go toward awarding scholarships to deserving youth and the future leaders of our community. Every ticket sold not only moves us closer to our goal of 130 members for 2026, but also fuels our mission to support local candidates, protect our community's future, and empower the next generation of Madera Patriots.

👗 Attire: "Derby Chic" We encourage all our guests to embrace the tradition of the races with garden-party elegance. Hats and fascinators are highly encouraged! Our judges will be scouting the vineyard for the most creative headwear and best-coordinated outfits, with exclusive prizes awarded to the winners of the night.
